We provide service up to 1.5 hours outside of Sudbury at no additional cost. Locations beyond this radius can be arranged for an additional travel fee.

1. Course Scope
This training program covers Micro drones under 250g, Basic, Advanced, and Level 1 Complex operations. It includes a Pilot and ROC-A Certificate, flight practice, a flight review, and an overview of operational manuals. No prior drone experience is required.2. Equipment
Participants are encouraged to bring their own drone. A training drone can be provided by DFR Solutions upon request for no additional fee. All equipment must meet Transport Canada compliance requirements.3. Location and Delivery
Courses are offered in-person or hybrid, with in-person training available in Sudbury, Greater Sudbury, North Bay, Blind River, Elliot Lake, Espanola, and Little Current (approximately 1.5 hours outside of Sudbury). Locations beyond this radius may be arranged for an additional travel fee.4. Fees and Payments
The course cost is $2,000, plus $225 for Transport Canada (TC) testing and certificate expenses.
Payment must be made in full by e-transfer prior to the start of the course.
5. Certification
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a record of training and flight shool certificate of completion. Transport Canada requires successful completion of applicable exams for the issuance of a Pilot Certificate.6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be rescheduled at the company’s discretion.7. Client Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for:Following all safety instructions during training.
Providing accurate information for registration and certification purposes.
Meeting Transport Canada’s requirements for certification.
Depending on group size, may need to bring a Visual Observer (VO) for flight review (1-day).
8. Liability
DFR Solutions provides training and guidance to the best of its knowledge and expertise but is not responsible for the outcome of Transport Canada (TC) testing, certification decisions, or for any accidents, damages, or incidents that occur during or after training.9. Confidentiality
