This course is designed for both new and experienced drone operators who want to confidently integrate drones into their business. Training covers operational, regulatory, and financial considerations with a focus on safety, compliance, and efficiency. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and practical tools to effectively manage and expand drone operations in a business setting.

• Navigating and applying Transport Canada (TC) regulations

1. Course Scope
This course provides participants with the knowledge and tools to integrate and manage drone operations within a business setting. Training covers regulatory awareness, operational efficiency, financial planning, maintenance tracking, communication strategies, and international considerations.

2. Equipment
No drone equipment is required for this course. All necessary training materials will be provided by DFR Solutions. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop or tablet for note-taking and exercises.

3. Location and Delivery
Courses are offered in-person or remote, with in-person training available in Sudbury, Greater Sudbury, North Bay, Blind River, Elliot Lake, Espanola, and Little Current (approximately 1.5 hours outside of Sudbury). Locations beyond this radius may be arranged for an additional travel fee.

4. Fees and Payments
The cost of the course is $3,000 CAD. Payment must be made in full by e-transfer prior to the start of the course.

5. Certification
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a DFR Solutions certificate of completion recognizing their participation in the Drone / Aviation Business Development Class.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled start date to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be rescheduled at DFR Solutions’ discretion.

7. Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for:

• Attending all scheduled sessions (in-person or remote).

• Bringing a laptop or tablet for assignments and exercises.

• Completing any pre-course or in-class assignments provided by instructors.

• Ensuring a reliable internet connection if attending remotely.

8. Liability
DFR Solutions provides training and guidance to the best of its expertise but is not responsible for how participants apply the knowledge gained in their businesses, nor for any financial, legal, or operational outcomes following completion of the course.

9. Confidentiality
All personal information provided will be used solely for course administration. Participant business information shared during discussions will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law.
